Jack White hasn’t won any awards yet at this year’s GRAMMYs (don’t feel bad – he has nine GRAMMYS on his shelf from prior victories), but he surely earned some new fans with his furious performance at the show. Starting out with his all-female band, The Peacocks, he sang the first single from his GRAMMY nominated solo album Blunderbuss, “Love Interruption.”
After that, he switched his acoustic guitar for an electric, and joined his all-male band, The Buzzards, for a furious take through Blunderbuss‘ “Freedom At 21.”
White can still take home his tenth GRAMMY: he’s nominated for Album Of The Year, against The Black Keys (who have won three times tonight), fun., Frank Ocean and Mumford & Sons.
